Nakagaki is widely known for his ability to bring classical techniques—such as Oribe and Shino glazes—into contemporary tableware with refined aesthetics and exceptional craftsmanship. This particular piece pays homage to Kitaoji Rosanjin, one of Japan’s most influential 20th-century ceramic artists.
