🐾 Black Maneki Neko Pendulum Wall Clock – Craft Yuuki

This charming black ceramic Maneki Neko pendulum wall clock features a plump, adorable face, soft rounded ears, and a gently wagging tail that moves with time.
The raised right paw symbolizes good fortune and prosperity, while the deep black color adds a calm, dignified presence to any space.

Easy to hang with the hook on the back, this clock is perfect for homes, shops, offices, or as a meaningful gift for new beginnings.

🎨 About the Artist – Craft Yuuki

Craft Yuuki was founded in 1997 by ceramic artist Kiyotaka Yamazaki in Seto, Aichi Prefecture—Japan’s historic pottery town with over 1,000 years of ceramic tradition.
After training at a major Seto porcelain manufacturer, Yamazaki established his own studio and now creates every piece entirely by hand, from design and sculpting to finishing.

Each clock carries subtle differences that reflect the warmth and individuality of handmade work.

🌿 “Real Kawaii” – Warmth with Character

Inspired by animals and birds, Yamazaki’s creations are guided by his philosophy of “Real Kawaii”—a balance between lifelike realism and gentle cuteness.
Using traditional mold-making techniques (not slip casting), he preserves the soft expressions and warmth that make each piece feel alive.

Every Maneki Neko clock is more than a timepiece—it is a small ceramic sculpture made to bring comfort and calm to daily life.

🖤 The Meaning of Black Maneki Neko in Japan

In Japan, black cats have long been regarded as protective symbols, believed to ward off evil, bad luck, and negative energy.
A black Maneki Neko is traditionally associated with protection, safety, and quiet strength, making it especially meaningful for businesses, new homes, or personal spaces.

In Japanese culture, clocks are often given to celebrate new chapters and fresh starts. Combined with the protective symbolism of the black Maneki Neko, this clock becomes a thoughtful gift for housewarmings, shop openings, or anyone wishing for lasting good fortune and peace.
